Custom 5" x 7" Greeting Cards

Greeting cards are a great way for artists and photographers to make addtitional income from their creative efforts.

At an art fair, offering greeting cards for sale can sometimes make an average event into something much better. That is because greeting cards are relatively inexpensive to produce and to purchase and are an "impulse" buy.

If you are offering your work via a framing gallery, most likely they would be more than happy to accept greeting cards for sale for the same reason - "impulse" purchases.

We would recommend seriously considering adding greeting cards to your portfolio of work for sale along with your original work and giclees.

1. Smooth White - $.76 per card/envelope*

    Standard weight (65 lb cover) • 98 brightness • 10% post-consumer recycled content • Acid-free for archival quality

    Heavy weight (80 lb cover) • Acid free • Textured surface • Warm white

*Greeting cards are not printed using giclee printers. We cannot guarantee that the printed card will match the same quality as a giclee.

Cards printed on the Smooth White stock use an OKI laser printer and the image has a slightly glossy finish.

Cards printed on the Fine Art Vellum and Deckled Edge Watercolor stock use a Canon 9000 ink jet printer with dye inks.

*A non-refundable layout fee will apply for cards/images if ordered under a certain minimum quantity (see below).

*Cards cannot be printed as full bleed or "borderless".

If you want text on your card, we recommend one of two possible layouts:

Option One: Title and artist name centered on back with other credits at the bottom.

Option Two: All credits at the bottom.

        

Text is enlarged for illustration purposes. Font sizes used are typically 10 - 14 pt.

Layout Fee: $5.00 per card/image unless waived based upon quantity ordered*

The layout fee is a one time charge which includes the layout of text and emailing forapproval before printing.

*If you print certain minimum quantities, the layout fee will be waived.

• Fine Art Vellum - 15 or more cards per image.
• Deckled Edge Watercolor - 20 or more cards per image.

Mailed Proofs: $1.50 per card/image.

Picture Salon reserves the right to charge a "rush" fee for orders that fall outside of our normal turnaround time. We will notify you in advance of any such fees.
