Tips for sending files quickly:
Uploading images can take 1-5 minutes per MB to upload, depending upon your connection speed.
Please follow our advice to make your uploading experience as painless as possible.
Convert your file to an LZW (lossless) TIF (.tif) file.
In Photoshop, go to "save as", choose .tif and LZW. If you do not have Photoshop or a comparable program, you may also compress your files. Converting TIF (.tif) files to LZW files could cut your upload time in half!
To send multiple files, you should first create a compressed archive of the files.
In Windows XP create a folder and copy the files into the folder. Then right click on the folder and go to "Send To" and select "Compressed Folder (Zip)". This will compress the files and the folder into a smaller single file, allowing you to upload that in place of each individual file.
In other versions of Windows - please get WinZip from www.winzip.com.
On the Mac you can use DropStuff (Part of StuffIt Lite) for free to create a .sit.
